Gregory Couba (Physical Acting and Training)
Gregory is an actor, singer, and director. He has performed with various theater companies in New York City, toured regionally with Nebraska Theatre Caravan as a featured dancer, and has particularly enjoyed portraying some of Shakespeare’s great clowns, including Ariel, Puck, and Feste. As an operatic character tenor, he’s played Goro in Madame Butterfly and Monostatos in The Magic Flute. He is also a personal trainer certified with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. This past summer he taught the first section of the Larry Singer Studio Summer Intensive, focusing on body awareness and alignment. He will be directing Much Ado About Nothing this winter for Snapped Productions in Harlem. He attended Hofstra University where he minored in Dance, and graduated with a BFA in Theatre Arts (Performance and Production). He is also a member of the Actors’ Equity Association.
Erica Newhouse
Erica is a New York-based actor and dancer. She teaches acting at Sarah Lawrence College. Careena Melia
Careena Melia is a New York-based actor. Tuuli Nilsson
Tuuli is a Speech Communication teacher and voice and movement trainer. She is a designated Linklater Voice teacher (since 2007) and Linklater work has been the basis of her voice training ever since. She is also an Associate Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework (2014) and a nationally certified Alexander Technique teacher, having graduated from The American Center for the Alexander Technique, the leading Teacher Certification Program in the United States.
She currently works as a Voice and Speech Lecturer in the Theatre Academy at the University of the Arts Helsinki. She holds a Masters degree in Speech Communication and is currently pursuing doctoral studies, focusing on the effectiveness of actor centered voice training methods.
Joe White
Joe graduated Cum Laude from The University Of Rhode Island with degrees in English and Theatre. He is a very active member of the theatre community in New York City. He has performed at numerous Off Broadway Theatres including… The Ensemble Studio Theatre, The Public Theatre and So-Ho Rep, The West Side Arts Theatre, MCC etc. International theatre travels have taken him to the Edinburgh Festival in Scotland and on a tour of India. His film and television acting work includes Goodfellas directed by Martin Scorsese and numerous episodes of T.V.’ s Law and Order and Blue Bloods. He is a Teaching Artist for Manhattan Theatre Club and TDF and an Acting Coach at Fordham Law School. He also teaches playwriting to NY Local Union employees through the Working Theater. He is a long time volunteer for the 52nd Street Project, an organization that brings under served children from the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood together with professional theater artists to create original plays. Joe is a member of ‘Actors & Writers’, a theatre company in the Catskill Mountains of NY, where he maintains a home.
